The Yamaha Raptor 700 responds well to a wider front end, but the best width depends on whether you want a balanced recreational setup or the widest stance for open riding.

Raptor 700 +2 A-arms
+2 is the best general-purpose width for many riders. It gives the Raptor a wider, more planted feel while keeping overall width more manageable for trail riding, transport, and mixed terrain.
Raptor 700 +3 A-arms
+3 puts more emphasis on maximum stability. It is well suited to open dunes, fast desert-style riding, and riders who want the front end as wide as practical.
Don't forget the rest of the front end
When you widen the A-arms, tie-rod length and brake-line routing need to match. Wheel offset also affects final track width, so two Raptor 700s with the same A-arms can still end up with different total widths.
FullFlight Racing's current Raptor 700 Elite 3.0 A-arm listing offers both +2 and +3 configurations for 2006-2026 models.
Our practical recommendation
Choose +2 for a versatile machine used on trails, dunes, and general sport riding.
Choose +3 when open-terrain handling and maximum stance are more important than keeping the machine narrow.
